We had a number of excellent responses to our first call, but still have some space available for artists working with one of a kind garments.

We therefore invite you to participate in the 2nd ART OF FASHION show and sale to be held at the Artemis Studio Gallery and The Seymour Art Gallery in Deep Cove North Vancouver, on Sunday, April 1, 2012.

A designer will choreograph the Fashion show. The show and sale will take place between 2pm and 4:30pm, and refreshments will be served at both locations. The ART OF FASHION is a unique opportunity for creators of wearable art clothing to show and sell their work. This is a juried show, in part due to space limitations. Models will show their works at the Artemis Studio Gallery, and the artists must provide their own model.

The show and sale is a fundraiser for the Seymour Art Gallery. 20% of sales will go to the Gallery. The Seymour Gallery and the Show Committee will publicize the show and sale, and provide e-mail invitations, as well as a limited number of printed invitations.. We have the right to use any of the submitted photographs for this purpose.

There is an entry fee of $15 per artist payable to FibreEssence. Your entry form and accompanying cv, entry fee, and CD of jpeg images must be received at the Seymour Gallery, 4360 Gallant Ave, North Vancouver, V7G 1L2, by 5pm February 16th, 2012. Image requirements are described on the Entry Form.

Applicants will be notified of acceptance or otherwise by February 29th, 2012. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work. Information will be sent to accepted artists, and a meeting will be held at the gallery in early March.
